Cosvic Srl, founded in 1995, is a leader in the industrial automation sector. Based in Torri di Quartesolo (VI), the company specializes in designing and building custom-made, turnkey machines for assembly and testing. Over the course of its 20 years of operation, Cosvic has expanded its expertise, exploring new engineering systems to create automated plants for its clients, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and long-lasting performance.
The machines and modules designed and developed by Cosvic are present across various industrial sectors, including electromechanics, automotive and vehicle components, electronics, and DC motors. In recent years, the company has also expanded into the medical sector.
In this dynamic environment, Talos undertook the recabling of network cabinets, established DECT and wireless coverage, and assumed responsibility for system management. Cybersecurity was entrusted to Fortinet devices, configured to provide advanced protection against both external and internal threats.
To meet the high processing demands of the design team, a 10 Gbit network was implemented, connecting workstations to the company’s servers. This enables seamless use of PDM design and drafting software, boosting productivity. The servers, equipped with Hyper-V hypervisors, host multiple virtual machines for business, telephony, and management services. Additionally, Talos implemented a comprehensive backup system, both on-site and off-site, ensuring data protection and enabling the swift restoration of data and virtual machines via remote deployment.
